This data indicates that the San Francisco  Peninsula real estate market continues to show strong activity with multiple offers being  the norm for  many cities located in Silicon Valley .

Palo Alto: 1.2   months (based upon closed sales for June  2012)

1.1   months (based upon pended sales for June  2012)

Menlo Park: 1.2  months (based upon closed sales for June  2012)

1.3   months(based upon pended sales for June   2012)

Portola Valley: 1.7 months(based upon closed sales for June 2012)

4.3  months (based upon pended sales   for June  2012)

Redwood City:1.3  months (based upon closed sales for June  2012)

San Carlos: .9    months(based upon closed sales for June 2012)

The data only includes sales reported to the MLS.  ”Off Market” sales are not included in this data.  As we continue  our summer market, the San Francisco  Peninsula  market continues to remain competitive .
